With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business Management, Marianna laid the groundwork that would later support all the merit she has gained in the industry. Mari kicked off her career at the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – APEX, where she managed projects related to the creative economy. In essence, she promoted businesses between Brazilian and foreign companies in the fields of music, franchising, visual arts and audiovisual production, among many others.
Two years later, she moved to São Paulo to coordinate the corporate projects of the Brazilian Association of Audiovisual Production – APRO and currently works as the Executive Manager of FilmBrazil. As her background clearly foreshadowed, the company’s goal is to foster and facilitate ad production between international and domestic companies while establishing Brazil as an ad production hub.
More recently, she was responsible for establishing the partnership between APRO and SEBRAE NACIONAL, which aims to provide small-sized Brazilian production companies with occupational training and access to target markets.
It goes without saying that she is moved by multiculturalism, cooperation and making things happen. A dream? Turn international partners’ wish and desire of producing ads in Brazil come true. Another dream? Meet Adam Levine and George Clooney, clearly. (Don’t we all?)
